Acostas {4.2.17}

Sarah + Dominic are expecting their first child! It was such an honor to celebrate this milestone of expectation with photographs. These two are going to be the best parents because their love for each other is so evident. They claimed to not like taking pictures, but to me they are natural models, so hopefully this session has changed their minds ;)

Our Fixer Upper

One year ago we walked into OUR home. After many many months of contemplation/conversation/prayer about this little light-filled condo, we finally signed (many times), were handed the keys, and became immediately doe-eyed in wonder and joy and exhaustion.

Keri + Corey {12.10.16}

Their love story began in high school and blossomed while working together for the marching band. Keri + Corey's relationship grew through the following years and turned from 'in a relationship' into 'engaged' at Keri's work (a flower shop) where Corey proposed! Needless to say, the wedding florals were AMAZING!!

Sweethearts: Cheyenne + Greg {10.21.16}

I still remember the day she was born... I couldn't be more excited to finally have a girl cousin on the Windon side!! Our brothers separate us in the grandchildren line up {myself, Nate, Rosco, Zeke, and Cheyenne!} and as the female bookends, we were finally a complete set :) Since I did not grow up with biological sisters, I have always extra appreciated my girl cousins. These are the girls most {genetically + generationally} like me and they are the people who I have shared special memories of grandparents, Christmas, Easters, Thanksgivings, birthdays, graduations, laughter, and coffee dates <3

I had the pleasure of shooting this special sweetheart session on my second photog-iversary! I have been wanting and waiting to do a sweetheart session for a while. It is so important to take the time to document your relationship at the in between seasons not just your engagement/wedding {although I highly recommend professional photography at those moments as well :) } So when Cheyenne + Greg asked if I would take their annual pictures OF COURSE I said YES!! Chey + Greg, thank you so much for giving me the honor of taking these pictures of you two! I love your love!! <3

Senior: Erin {Class of 2017}

Her appearance may have changed since middle school, but her sweet heart has remained the same! I met Erin when she started coming to middle school Campus Life :) It has been a pleasure to watch her grow over the last six years and I can hardly believe she is a senior now!! I was so excited for Erin's session not only because she is beautiful, but also because she wanted to shoot at a farm she loves! A place filled with memories of hayrides + bonfires + s'mores (thanks Luther family!) Happy senior year Erin!! Thanks for having me take your senior pictures! <3

Family: Luthers {10.16.16}

The Luther family is everything wonderful! They are kind, hardworking, and so much fun! I love taking their family photos because we explore + find the best photo locations on the farm :)

Thanks Luthers for being your amazing selves! I love watching your family grow older + closer! <3

Senior: Meg {Class of 2017}

You might recognize Meg from the countless photo shoots she has volunteered to be in, or from my wedding pictures because she was 1 of my 5 amazing flower girls! I've known Meg since her early years in middle school and it has been a true joy to watch her grow. I have had the honor of being her Campus Life leader for the last 6+ years. The greatest joy I have experienced as a leader is watching students become leaders themselves! Meg did just that and it makes me tear up to remember watching her as a rising high school senior run around camp with a bunch of middle school girls. Her love for them is deep + fearless + honest--the true picture of a leader like Jesus.

Meg, your strength + grace is something I admire and hope to become one day too. Thank you for your wisdom and your unconditional love for teens! I am so excited for the rest of your senior year and your adventures in college!! Love you lots <3

Senior: Emily {Class of 2017}

Emily's session was an absolute joy! She is a down-to-earth girl with dreams of going to a big college :) I was so excited that Emily chose to bring her two dogs as her 'end of the session extra'. In every senior session, the senior is invited to bring either a bestie/significant other/family member to the end of their shoot. Emily said it was no contest--she had to bring her two pups!! Photographing animals always adds an extra challenge, but I am happy to say we got some really great photos! Emily, thank you for asking me to take your senior photos :) I am SO excited for your adventures to college!! You are amazing!!
